3 x 20 for Four 'n Twenty

An Austrlian icon - the Patties Foods meat pie, Four’N Twenty, has celebrated its 60th birthday with the opening of a $21 million investment to increase production.

The new facility was officially opened on November 28 by the Premier of Victoria, John Brumby.

Patties Food has increases its production capacity with two new pie lines and a 10,000 pallet freezer warehouse at the company’s bakery in Bairnsdale, Victoria.

“Patties restored the brand to Australian ownership when it bought Four’N Twenty from Simplot in 2003. Since then, the brand has invested in product innovation and now increased production capacity.

“We’ve invested in marketing, with advertising campaigns such as Magic Salad Plate, which speak directly to the core market,” said Patties Foods CEO, Greg Bourke.
