SPC Ardmona has opened its new factory sales outlet designed to help grow its status as the most popular factory food outlet in the country.

Jacinta Allan, Victoria's Regional and Rural Development Minister, unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the opening and said the factory sales outlet's new Shepparton CBD location will elevate SPC Ardmona's already heightened status among tourists.

Allan said the Victorian Government was securing the company's future through its support of the $2 billion Northern Victoria Irrigation Renewal Project.

"This vital project will provide the Foodbowl with a world class irrigation system that will reduce water loss and secure the region's prosperity," Allan said.
