Ansell had developed its Polar Bear gloves for hand protection in food processing.
Made from an engineered-yarn core and a high strength outer wrap, Ansell said the gloves are lightweight and the extended anti-shrink cuff gives added comfort for shift-long productivity. The gloves have reversible design so they can be worn on either hand.
According to Ansell, the Polar Bear gloves have been engineered for the hand protection of workers in the meat and poultry processing, meat packing and in refrigerated areas, such as chillers and marshalling areas, as well as the food service industries.
The gloves have been approved by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) Meat Notice 94/44 for use in post final carcass inspection in temperature controlled areas such as boning rooms.
