ADM Packaging Technology’s ADM-X240 is a budget priced machine, equipped with well-known product technology and locally available parts.
According to the company, the PLC used is a Panasonic product, offering high end quality program control and investment security over unknown brands.
The ADM-X240 is custom-built as a standard bagger to ADM specification. The provisions made by a ADM make this up-gradable from a standard model to a special purpose machine for applications to include zipper interface, four edge seal, valve application and more.
A Panasonic Servo motor is used to control the film pull for precision films feed and managed motion control offering a better transporting drive over inverter control or brake clutch motors. The motor is also used to drive the end seal on the ADMX-240 for better motion control and bag sealing results over pneumatics. It also offers the advantage to increased bag speeds.
The ADMX-240 contains a motorised rear carriage, and adjustment for film positioning to assist in reducing setup time during changeover.
The ADM-X240 is constructed in stainless steel providing all the advantages required in the food industry and with speeds of up to 100 bags per minute, it is priced to suit most small to medium-sized operations.
