Champion introduces the latest VOC series
Leading compressed-air technology group, Champion Compressors, has launched its upgraded variable output compressor (VOC) series. Champion’s popular VOC series has been redesigned to further enhance its ruggedness for use in heavy industrial applications. The latest VOC line-up employs a direct-coupled gear-drive system which is perfect for harsh, dirty and aggressive environments. Utilising fully compliant MEPS II high-efficiency motors, the upgraded VOC series is available in 55kW to 250kW models with free air delivery capacities of 10.1 cubic metres per minute, to 43.7 cubic metres per minute and operating pressures of 7.5, 10 and 13bar. The VOC series utilises state-of-the-art flexible drive couplings, which facilitate coupling replacement, thereby reducing maintenance downtime. Akin to all Champion compressors, the enhanced VOC series features a high degree of reliability and world-class efficiency, as well as an ambient temperature rating of 50 degrees Celsius—specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of heavy industry in the harsh Australian environment. As with all Champion products, the VOC series is fully customisable through a wide range of standard production and end-user specified options, to suit almost any application and environment.
