Foodmach Australia recently received the Highly Commended Zenith Award in the food and beverage category for their customised palletising system.
Evolving to meet ever-changing industry demands, packaging solutions provider, Foodmach Australia, has created a customised palletising system founded on drive technology from SEW-Eurodrive.
SEW-Eurodrive's Robomatrix Hybrid combines features of Foodmach Australia’s Robomatrix series of high-speed pattern-forming palletising solutions and elements of its S3000 floor-level case-palletiser.
Almost all of the Robomatrix Hybrid’s motion processes rely on SEW-Eurodrive electronic drive control technology as well as SEW-Eurodrive standard and servo gear motors.
The result is a fast and efficient single-level palletising machine, adaptable to nearly anything that comes off a production line in a package.
“Foodmach is firmly established as a leading provider of automation solutions, specialising in conveying and line control, palletising, de-palletising, robotic automation and complete turn-key projects.
"To be recognised by PACE extends our credibility as a leading-edge innovator, and potentially opens the door into other industries and global markets,” said Foodmach sales and capability director, Peter Marks.
The judges said: “Developing flexible machinery in a competitive environment requires a thorough understanding of the current technologies available.
"Foodmach should be congratulated on utilising its expertise to develop a first class palletising system.”
The Zenith Awards are hosted by Food Magazine's sister publication, PACE.
