Mouvex has released the new SLC-Series of eccentric disc pumps which it claims lowers ongoing maintenance costs in the transfer of various chemicals.
The Mouvex SLC-Series of eccentric disc pumps are said to have superior volumetric efficiencies.
According to Mouvex, unlike gear and lobe pumps which lose efficiency as they wear, the SLC-Series sustains high efficiency levels over time.
The pumps self-compensate for mechanical wear and maintain a consistent flow over time.
The SLC-Series eccentric disc pump is suited for multiple fluid-handling applications within the chemical processing and distribution industries.
They can handle thin, abrasive, aggressive and higher viscosity fluids.
Mouvex claims the SLC-Series eccentric disc pumps have gentle fluid handling, seal-less construction, low shear and agitation of the pumped product; the capability of handling solids and abrasives and the ability to run dry for up to five minutes.
