A next generation web-based technology is giving wine companies the know-how to reduce costs, reduce waste and improve their business performance.
Winery Benchmarker, an online wine production benchmarking tool, has been developed by wine industry consultancy Provisor. Now available online by subscription, it introduces world-leading technology to Australia’s wine sector for the first time.
The interactive tool has been designed to give wineries the capability to compare themselves against companies of the same size, by region or by country and benchmark operations against red or white, premium or commercial wines.
It was created after 12 months of development in consultation with 25 Australian wineries ranging from small producers to multi-national exporters, including Zilzie Wines in the Sunraysia, Grant Burge Wines in the Barossa and Sirromet in Queensland.
