The new remote control software for Hitachi PXR series inkjet printers, PXRView 5, is designed to provide production control offices with interference-proof, and central networking control of up to sixteen Hitachi printers used in production line coding applications.
The Hitachi PXRView 5 software therefore eliminates expensive no code and wrong code errors that can occur when printers have to be set up individually by various plant operators.
The printing tasks can be set up via any networked PC using Windows platforms.
The Hitachi PXRView 5 software adapts to ERP, MRP systems and other enterprise database standards and has powerful features including:
- security password access;
- the ability to remotely create and print messages for one printer or groups of printers and to indicate by means of ‘status windows’ displayed on the production control computer, the status of all printers.
Further flexibility is provided by the ability to:
- Create logos, foreign language characters and other patterns from bitmaps, jpgs, etc; and
- Select from over 80 commonly used patterns;
