Enerquip releases new range of quiet, efficient Ceccato air compressors.
Europe's top efficiency ranking, quietness and an elegantly simple design for reliability and ease of maintenance distinguish Ceccato screw-type air compressors just released by Enerquip. Ranging from 4kW (5.5HP) to 15kW (20HP), the Ceccato's Weg motors boast the EC's EFF1 efficiency ranking and IP55 for protection against dust and jets of water. These Italian air compressors also meet Australia's mandatory energy efficiency performance standards (MEPS).Greater efficiencies have brought improvements in both running costs and performance. The new 15kW Ceccato rotary screw compressors achieve free air delivery (FAD) of up to 120m3 per hour (70.6 cfm). The range includes inverter models, which offer reduced power consumption, protection against power surges and constant pressure. The Ceccato air compressor range's efficiency is enhanced by large pressure vessels, high-flow cooling systems and a clever controller that incorporates an energy-saving intelligent shut-down function.Despite its advanced diagnostics capabilities, Enerquip's managing director, Peter Humble, says the Ceccato controller is known for its user-friendliness. "A Ceccato air compressor is great when you just want to start it up and walk away," he says. "When it needs attention, it turns on a 'Service Due' light and the diagnostics are very clear."Users will also appreciate the Ceccato screw compressor's quietness. At between 60 and 65 decibels, the sound level is similar to that of normal conversation or a trip in the average car.The new Ceccato CSA 5.5HP to 20HP range of screw-type air compressors occupy a small footprint in either a cabinet or tank-mounted format and dry-air units are also available. The newly released range is part of a comprehensive line-up of air compressors for even the most demanding industrial applications. Ceccato air compressors are supported locally by Enerquip's Australian service network, which offers predictive maintenance and 24-hour service.
